Sidsel Nørgaard-Nielsen is a Funen-based composer and instrumentalist. Kunstrum Fyn has on several occasion commissioned works by Nørgaard-Nielsen. For BOTANIK she has developed the poetic concert- performance Sciophyte in collaboration with Ceclie Mee (text) and Kaia Tind (voice). A sciophyte is a shade-loving plant or tree.
