Martin Schier Christiansen

Martin Schier Christiansen is a Danish biologist educated at the University of Copenhagen with a specialization in ecology. He works as an independent biologist, offering educational mediation about forests, mushrooms and biodiversity. Together with dancer and choreographer Astrid Sten Andersen, he has developed a site-specific "forest walk" for BOTANIK, taking the audience on a biological journey through words, movement and senses, bringing us in closer contact with the surrounding trees and mushrooms.

Christiansen will also contribute to the festival seminar “In Conversation with Landscapes and Plants”.
