Astrid Sten Andersen

Astrid Sten Andersen is a Danish dancer and choreographer also holding a master’s degree in molecular biomedicine. She works at the intersection of modern dance and natural science, experimenting with the abstract and the factual as a tool to capture the audience's attention.

Together with biologist Martin Schier Christiansen she has developed a site-specific "forest walk" taking the audience on a biological journey through words, movement and senses, bringing us in closer contact with the surrounding trees and mushrooms.
